Working of our certification activitity

It relies on a quality system that conforms to the standard EN 17065. BE-CERT is authorised by BELAC as a certification body for products, and has been recognised by the European Commission in relation to CE-attestation.

Our certification activities are led by executive committees representing all concerned parties (producers, users, public authorities and experts). The goal? To follow certification schemes that perfectly respond to market needs!

BENOR certification

BENOR certification is not mandatory, but a voluntary certification. Manfucaturers can attach it to their products to indicate that their products to indicate that their products conform to Belgian Standards (NBN) or to technical prescriptions (PTV). The BENOR certification is the property of the non profit organization 'asbl BENOR'  and the power to grant authorisation is entrusted to certain certification bodies, like BE-CERT.
